It's a Family Tradition

During the Christmas holidays my dad, brother and I don't really decorate or give presents to each other. It's really just like any other day. My grandma has lots of traditions though. We usually go over to her house and open presents. It's fun getting to see everyone and eating. My favorite presents my millermattic 252 welder. Now a day's I weld everything in sight. That's just what I do brake colts, weld, and build fence all day.

Giving

Dear Santa,
This year I would like you to give all my presents to someone who really needs them. It would mean more to me if someone else had presents under the tree, and food on the table. This year I think Ive been an alright guy. I hope everyone has a good Christmas, and gets want they want. I will leave cookies and milk for you.
From,
Koby Long

Sneezing

If I sneezed 12,000 times a day I would try my hardest to fix the problem I have. I would learn to get over it though I wouldn't want people to feel sorry for me. There is worse things in life.

Media

The media is becoming a big deal. Some people care about what people think about them, but if your smart you don't let it get to you. The media is looking to get peoples attention, and they will do anything to get peoples attention. Whether it is bringing someone down or making someone feel great. I'm glad I don't have someone filming me and taking pictures every time I walk outside.

One Wish

I wish I Didn't have to wake up everyday and deal with all the crap life throws at you. But you know what know madder how much we wish for we will never get nothing like that. So you just have to deal with it. Hope for the best and expect the worst. Work hard, keep your nose clean, and honor the lord. If you do that i promise you will succeed, and you wont have to wish for things.

Dress Code

The reason that we have dress code is to keep kids in line. I believe that dress code helps the school because if we didn't have it our kids would be wearing crazy inappropriate clothes. Sometimes I don't believe in everything our dress code says, but all in all its for the best. A few places where dress codes are applied are in schools, eating places, and also gas stations. I think people should not have to follow dress codes outside because I think everyone should have the freedom to wear what they want.

Everyone has there own opinion of what is rite, but today I'm gonna tell you how I feel. Parents should punish there kids when they have done wrong, and not when they've done rite. There not our friends there our parents. If your child has a drug or an attitude problem you beat him till he doesn't anymore period!

She lifted up her head and peered outside through the frosted window. Wrinkled eyes gazed into the bright sky, and a smile came over the old woman’s face when she saw the full moon, shining away in all it’s harvest glory, a perfect background setting for All Hallow’s Eve.

A loud purring reached her ears as a black cat leaped up on the table next to the rocking chair she was sitting in.

"Yes, my sweets. Isn’t that a pretty night we have in store for us? Old man moon looks down on us with a wink in his eye tonight."

The cat stared at her with deep green eyes, attention fixed on every word.

"You know what this night means, don’t you, Trickster?" The cat let out a soft meow, listening to his master.

"It is the passing of an age, that is what. Many long years, happy memories, but there is an ending to every story, good and bad. Ol’ Madge here has seen it all, yes I have."

The old woman pushed herself up from the chair, one gnarled hand stroking the silken fur of Trickster. There was a creaking noise as old bones cracked within the ancient body, stiff joints groaning in protest at the effort made by her to straighten up.

"Ah, this craggy old girl ain’t what she used to be. Need a dose of the ointment before I go, that’ll fix me for a little while."

Madge walked over towards a large oaken trunk that was filled with an assortment of herbs, spices, animal parts, jarred collections of insects, packaged powders, and numerous other odds and ends. They were the tools of her trade.

Rummaging through the contents, she found a sachet containing some brown colored leaves, and when she opened it a sweet odor wafted outwards.

"Hmm, this will do fine." The crone went over to a wooden cabinet which had vials of liquid scattered about the shelves. She grabbed a tube with a bubbly fluid inside with a purple tinge to it, and then poured the leaves in.

Wispy curls of vapor rose up, and the old woman drank deeply.

A look of revulsion crossed her face at the bitter taste, but she shook it off.

"Not the fountain of youth, but it bestows on me a glimmer of strength, and that is all I need." She smacked her dry lips together, and smiled with glee.

Madge hobbled over to the great stone fireplace that warmed the cottage, and a black cauldron was resting above the burning flames. A green liquid boiled away in a frenzy, fat bubbles oozing from the surface. She stirred the mixture with a metal ladle.

I don't believe in Halloween so i don't celebrate it

Donations

If I had $50,000 dollars to donate to charity it would take me awhile to think about who really deserves it. I think I would donate all of the money to homeless kids. So that they have the oppurtunity to go to college have a life, and not have to live a horrible life because of there parents mistakes. I want every kid to have the oppurtunity to make a difference.

If I could go back in time and write a letter to someone famous it would have to be Notorious. He was a famous rapper back in the day. One of my favorite. The question that I would ask would have to be if he really shot 2-upac. It's hard to believe because I thought they were bestfriends.

First he would need to know about all the girls, and then he would need to know about certain teachers. Not naming any names hahah. Then he would need to come with the gang on a weekend to see what Wellingtons all about. Somethings I would show him, but somethings you just have to find them out for yourself.

PIrates

It's hard to; say you never know what you would do in a time like that. I don't think I would do what Richard Philips did. It takes a man to do what he did. Nobody ever wants to make those decisions, but you never know when your time will come.

During spring break, I went to the beautiful Bahamas to the amazing Atlantis resort, and it was a lot of fun. It was for sure a week to remember. I want to go back some time in the future maybe with a beautiful girl by my side.

Drugs in Mexico

I don't think this war will end with a happy ending. This is a very bad thing that if it doesn't get took care of all Mexico will be is a huge drug gang. The army will have to take control of this disaster to win this war. So in my opinion the only way to defeat this is an army.

Personally if you ask me what I think about Mr.Duncan its not to good. I don't believe I care if i'm not smarter than someone in some foreign country. Did Duncan have to go to school all year??? I don't believe so. So when people ask me want I want to do I say 180 days of school is enough. No teacher is going to want to teach all year long. They can't stand us for 180 days much less 365. If this ever takes fect while I'm in school I might drop out. Plus our schools can bairley afourd to run 180 days out of the year. I think Mr. Duncan needs to get out of fairy tale land. That's what I got to say about that!!!!!!!!!!!!

No! I don't think it's right to clone people or animals. I think God should be the only one in control of that. I think its really cool that we have figured out ways to do something like that though. I would never clone anything or anybody because i think that it is wrong. You might not agree with me, but that's my opinion on that period....

Yes, the time has come he needs to retire. He is to old for the game. I think if he doesn't retire this time he will just get himself heart and he will regret it. He has been nothing but down hill ever since he came back. So yes just retire old man. He was great, but not anymore.

I don't know why everyone freaks out when the hear about baseball players and steroids it's not like they just started taking them. I'm disappointed in A-Rod he was a great, but also he made a dumb decision that he will have to live with the rest of his life. He went from A-Rod one of the best to A-Roid just one of the rest.

Charles Follis I think would like to see this day because he knows how Obama feels, but not as much. This historical day would mean a lot to Charles Follis because they both have made a huge impact to America. Charles Follis was the first African American pro football player and I think this day would really mean something to him. This is a memory I will never forget.

What would I do if my plane was going down? Well knowbody wants to put there self in a situation like that, but anything can happen. The first thing I would do is pray, pray that the lorld lets everyone know that I love them. The second thing I would do is follow all the directions the pilot gives. The final thing I would do is try to help any old person or young that doesn't have any body because that would be the right thing to do. Those would be the three things I would if I was on a crashing plane.

This year I have learned 35 plants in Ag, being a freshman isn't very fun, and also how to score a deer. Learning 35 plants has been a difficult task. It is hard to remember them all but I have learned them. Being a freshman has taught me a lot about who I am, and also that life is not easy. For the last thing I have learned to score a deer. It is pretty easy but I can say that I know how for the rest of my life.

10 years

Where do I see my self in Ten years that's the question. Well hopefully just graduated from Texas Tech, about to get married, looking for an architecture job, living in a cheap apartment barely making it. I hope the econemy is in better shape, but probably not. I hope for the best, but expect for the worst. I hope my wife or girlfriend is beautiful and I hope that I stay in touch with my good friends. In ten years I hope that I have a nice truck, a full man shoe, chest hair, and maybe some kids.
